Alison Streeter, M.Ed.
Dean of Alumni and Transition Services
A Wells Scholar, Ms. Streeter received her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and her Master of Education degree in School Counseling from Middle Tennessee State University. During the past few years she has worked as a counselor in a number of secondary and collegiate academic settings, most recently at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth.
Trevor Grimes, M.S.W., L.C.S.W.
Transition Counselor
Mr. Grimes received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the State University of New York at Geneseo and his Master of Arts in Social Work from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. His counseling experience includes work in educational and clinical settings, including the Lindenhurst School District (NY) and the Dept. of Family Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital.
Brandy Litwin, M.S.W., L.C.S.W.
Transition Counselor
Ms. Litwin received both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Master of Social Work degree from Western Michigan University. She possesses counseling experience with both adolescent and adult populations, having been a counseling supervisor for an adult foster care home as well as a high school counselor. Most recently she served as a school social worker at Harbor Creek School in Michigan.
John Price, L.C.S.W.
Transition Counselor
Mr. Price holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Rhetoric from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany and a Master of Social Work from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. In addition to his work as a Counselor with Sachem Community Youth Services over the past several years, Mr. Price has also held social work and counseling positions with the Islip Youth and Family Counseling and Hope for Youth Programs in Long Island, NY. Mr. Price began working in the Advising department at Carlbook in 2007, and in 2010 became an Alumni Transition Counselor.
Stefanie Sheldon, M.Ed., N.C.C.
Transition Counselor
A Nationally Certified Counselor, Mrs. Sheldon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Guilford College and a Master of Education in Counseling from Old Dominion University. She possesses several years of post-graduate counseling experience in private schools, including serving as a School Counselor at Steward School in Richmond, Virginia and as Dean of Students at Chatham Hall in Chatham, Virginia. Mrs. Sheldon has been on the Carlbrook faculty as a member of the Advising department since 2004.
