Athletics
The athletic program at Carlbrook strives to develop
every student's physical capabilities and to promote self-discipline,
confidence, and sportsmanship. Based on the belief that sports can
be an integral part of character development, Carlbrook students
are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of individual and
group athletic activities, both in their physical education courses
and during their free time.
Basketball, soccer, softball, volleyball, badminton
and other team sports promote healthy competition and demand collaboration
and cooperation amongst the student body. Individual sports such
as cross-country running, hiking, biking, aerobics and weight training
give students the opportunity to set personal goals and to test
themselves against them.
